What is CREDMAP ?

Credmap is an open source tool that was created to bring awareness to the dangers of credential reuse.
It is capable of testing supplied user credentials on several known websites to test if the password has been reused on any of these.


It is not uncommon for people who are not experts in security to reuse credentials on different websites; even security savvy people occasionally reuse credentials.
Credmap takes a username and/or e-mail, and a password as input and it attempts to login on a variety of known websites to verify if these credentials have been reused on any of them.

Open Terminal then follow the steps to Download Credmap


   cd Desktop                                                                           [PRESS Enter]  
   git clone  https://github.com/lightos/credmap.git      [PRESS Enter]

Now change directory to Credmap type:-

 cd credmap 


Now change the Permission of credmap.py to be executable type:-


 chmod +x credmap.py  

Simply Execute this script just with this command
./credmap.py

Open up Terminal and type command to launch Credmap


  ./credmap.py    


Sentax or Usage of credmap

./credmap  - - email  - - user

Now type :-

./credmap.py   - -email yourid@gmail.com  - -user yourid@gmail.com
                                                                                                    [PRESS Enter ]

It will ask Password type the password you have guess or want to scan on web
ENTER THE PASSWORD & then                                           [Press Enter]







Now wait for results
